I qualified as a solicitor in February 1999 after studying for a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Laws degree in International and Commercial Law at the University of Sheffield. Since qualifying as a Solicitor as well as working in various private practices throughout the North West, I have also worked as an in house solicitor for a building society and worked for a major firm of Licensed Conveyancers.
I am one of the founding partners of AG Solicitors the predecessor practice of AGH Solicitors when the practice was set up in May 2002.
Since qualification, I have dealt with a wide variety of matters including Crime, Civil litigation, Data Protection and Intellectual Property. I currently deal with both Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Powers of Attorney, Wills and Probate.
Outside of the work environment I am a keen fell walker having achieved the lofty ambition of climbing every Wainwright peak in the Lake District before I turned 30. I have an active interest in local politics and was a councillor on both Bolton and Westhoughton Council’s for 8 years representing my home town of Westhoughton. I was previously President of Bolton Law Society.
